Program

TI students operate a salon, throughout the school year, offering many services. The Cosmetology Salon is open on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Please call 508-230-1438, after 5:00 p.m., to book your appointment.

Make your Cosmetology career a reality at Southeastern Technical Institute! TI has been educating students since 1968 and the first Cosmetology class started in March of 2014. The program is taught in our state-of-the-art Cosmetology laboratory with experienced teachers. The adult Cosmetology Program is an intense course of study including both theory and practical components based on the requirements set forth in the Massachusetts Board of Cosmetology rules and regulations. The program operates a salon that allows students to practice their skills with clients once they have reached the appropriate amount of hours as required by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

At the end of the program, the student will receive a certificate of completion for 1000 hours in the study of Cosmetology. The student will then be eligible to sit for the Massachusetts Board of Cosmetology and Barbering licensure exam. Licensure is a requirement to practice Cosmetology in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
