South Easton, MA: Nineteen Practical Nurse students graduated from Southeastern Technical Institute’s part-time evening Practical Nurse Program on January 10, 2018. This was the first graduation ceremony of the 50th year! Since 1968, STI has graduated 1,783 Practical Nurse students. The students will soon take the NCLEX-PN exam to become LPN’s.
The Practical Nurse Program includes classroom, laboratory, simulation and clinical learning experiences. After attending STI part-time, for two years, celebration is in order!
Student Marquis Johnson-Bell of North Dighton said, “Completing this program and graduation means the world to me. An accomplishment no one can take from me.”
Student Nelson Inegbedion of Brockton said, “Graduating this week from the PN program from STI is one of the best things to ever happen to me. I give all glory to God and also, l thank my family, my teachers, STI staff and my wonderful classmates.”
Student Denise Burke of Brockton said, “STI has a great PN Program and I would highly recommend it to others. Nursing school has been a very long journey, somewhat like a marathon race. Pushing, and persevering past your comfort zone, and what you think you can do. I am truly amazed that I have made it. I’m so grateful to be graduating and soon to be entering a new career.”
