Practical Nurse Class of 2020

The PN program exceeded my expectations. Before applying to the program I researched many and STI had everything I wanted in a program, particularly the high graduation and passing NCLEX rate. The teachers made me feel prepared for the exam. Even when covid happened the teachers made sure to be available and help make sure we learned everything we needed. They were available before and after school hours. During lab we had fun while learning. It helped prepare me and take the nervousness away from caring on a real patient. Being in a setting with my peers and an instructor like the lab allowed me to make mistakes and learn from them so when I encountered a real patient I was prepared and didn’t make mistakes. Thank you to the wonderful teachers Mrs. DiBona, Waugh, and Miller for helping to make my dream of being a nurse become a reality. I will forever be grateful for everything you all have taught me.
