The Culinary Arts Program is a partnership between MassHire Greater Brockton Career Center, Commonwealth Corporation, and STI. Grant funds are provided by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and training is free to those who qualify. The Culinary Arts Program provides a professional and creative curriculum, a supportive staff, and an environment where passionate individuals can immerse themselves in the culinary world. Students will train in our state-of-the–art facilities including our food truck, while working alongside caring and experienced chef instructors. Academically based knowledge in the classroom and hands-on experience in the lab are intertwined to give the culinary arts student the skills necessary to pursue a professional career in the culinary/hospitality industry.

STI Current Completion Rate
Enrolees must be highly motivated and energetic to enter the fast-paced and demanding culinary arts field. The program concludes with a 25-hour externship, allowing students to apply their new knowledge in a hands-on work environment. All students of the Culinary Arts Program will have the opportunity to become: ServSafe Food Manager Certified, Food Allergen Certified, and they will earn their OSHA 10 card.
This program is funded through the Career Technical Initiative grant from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The program is available free of charge to those who qualify.
