Jacinte Jean-Charles
Clinical Nurse Instructor
Prior to STI, Jacinte worked as Staff Charge Nurse at Signature Healthcare in Brockton. She graduated from UMass Boston with a B.S. in Biology and a B.S. in Nursing; she is currently attending UMass for her M.S. in Nursing. Jacinte has been working in the nursing field since 2006 and covered med-surg, orthopedic, telemetry, long-term care, and rehab. She enjoys nursing education which makes patients’ education and preceptorship the fun parts of her job. In her spare time, Jacinte likes to read, take long walks with her triplet boys, and watch movies. She looks forward to creating a strong bond with the STI community and having a successful learning and teaching experience this year.
Pamela Rose, MSN, RN
Director, Practical Nurse Program
Pamela joins STI with 35 years of nursing experience & 30 years of nursing education. Pamela’s work history includes Clinical Supervisor / Resource Nurse at Joslin Diabetes Center, Assistant Dean of Nursing at Quincy College as well as Health Assisting and Medical Assisting DESE Certified Instructor. She has taught Medical Assisting, Health Assisting, LPN, RN and BSN programs.
She received her undergraduate Bachelors in Nursing from Boston University School of Nursing and her Masters in Nursing Education from Salem State University. Pamela is passionate about both adult and adolescent vocational education and strives to reach all learners. She looks forward to a positive school year and working with the STI staff & students. In her spare time, Pamela enjoys working on outdoor projects, gardening and spending time with family and friends. She ALSO has triplets – two boys and a girl!
Accepting applications for both the full time day and the part time evening Practical Nurse program that begins next September. Early admissions is strongly recommended!
