Southeastern Technical Institute is pleased to announce that on April 12, 2019, the Commission of the Council on Occupational Education voted to continue the accreditation of the school. The purpose of institutional accreditation is to create a set of standards for all institutions of higher education to be held to, while also encouraging schools to be the best they can be. Accreditation aims to ensure accountability of schools. Our COE accreditation is what allows the STI to accept federal financial aid. STI will host the next visiting team in 2022.
