Ms. Keisha Brown, Job Coach for One Life At A Time in Braintree, came to “interview” STI’s Dental Assisting students on Monday, April 29th. Students were required to dress in professional attire and put together a portfolio, which included their resume, HIPAA certification, CPR certification, notes and questions for the interviewer, and their responses to common interview questions. Students were provided with helpful feedback on their dress, body language, ability to respond to questions, their overall communication skills, and attitude. Thank you to Ms. Brown for sharing her time and knowledge, and a special thank you to STI Business Technology Instructor, Donna Becker, for coordinating this invaluable career preparation exercise.
