GovernorĀ Charlie Baker, Secretary of Education Jim Peyser, Labor and Workforce Development Secretary Rosalin Acosta, and David Ferreira, Executive Director of MAVA, spoke at STI about new state initiatives to close the skills gap and expand access to quality post-secondary training programs. Southeastern is currently in the application process to add two new programs; Precision Machining and Advanced Manufacturing/Welding. The goal is to begin these programs in January 2019.
