STI’s Admissions Advisor, Rhonda Jermyn, and Adult Evening Cosmetology Instructor, Kara Babbitt, attended the Second Annual Pathways to Your Future event on October 4th. Kerri Murphy, and the Easton STEAM Education Team, did an outstanding job coordinating the event which offered several hundred students in the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade, the opportunity to hear about  educational and career options. Most students participated in a hands-on activity that helped them to connect educational pathways to future careers.

Students asked great questions and were interested in learning more about STI’s post secondary programs. Kara kept them quite engaged as they learned and practiced hair-dos and braiding on the mannequins. It most certainly shows that you’re never too young to begin thinking about your future career!
