Southeastern Technical Institute would like to congratulate the following students that have successfully completed their 1,000 required hours and graduated from STI’s adult Cosmetology Program. Since October, the following have graduated: Kelly Bishop of Attleboro, Kara Galligan of Norton, Erica Goncalves of Brockton, Jessika Pierce of Brockton, Nicole Sacco of Brockton and Jenna Vasapollo of Taunton.
While in school, STI’s adult Cosmetology students get real-world training through the program’s clinic which is open to the public. And, in some cases, they gain clients before they graduate. Keisha R. of Brockton raves about the clinic. “At STI’s Cosmetology Clinic I received a full foil, wash and blow dry. The student was amazing and was better than salon experiences I’ve had in the past. Now that she has graduated, I continue to go to her as a client outside of STI.”
Jay and his wife, also of Brockton, regularly get haircuts at the clinic. “The students are great. I live within walking distance from a place that could cut my hair, but my wife and I prefer to drive to STI for the friendly and professional students and faculty, and the extremely reasonable prices.”
Southeastern Technical Institute’s adult Cosmetology students are available for appointments on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00—9:00 PM. As regulated by the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Cosmetology and Barbering, once students reach specific benchmarks and hours in the program, they are able to begin working with clients in the school clinic setting.
Services include haircuts, color and treatments, skin care and nail services. All services are closely monitored by highly trained and experienced faculty, each of which is a licensed cosmetologist and educator. Charges for services have been calculated to cover cost of only materials and overhead used.
To book your appointment call 508-230-1438 after 5:00 PM Monday—Thursday. For a complete list of services, go to www.stitech.edu and click on Cosmetology Clinic Services in the About menu at the top of the page.
