On Friday, June 3rd, Admissions Advisor, Rhonda Jermyn, participated in a Career Fair which was at New England Art Publishers Inc. in Abington, MA. The purpose of the event was to assist employees who will be unemployed as of this coming July. The 89 year old printing company has been bought and is moving its headquarters to another part of the state.
The company is partnering with Brockton Career Works to help current staff find new employment or a training program/school to acquire new skills. Rhonda met with some long time employees who were contemplating a career change and were interested in STI’s Culinary Arts, HVAC, and Medical Assisting programs.
