Ms. Savage is a graduate of Laboure College where she majored in Nursing and received an AD in Nursing. She then earned a BSN from Emmanuel College. Ms. Savage is entering her 40th year as a nurse and has held various roles. She has been a Staff Nurse, Nurse Manager, Nurse Educator, Infection Preventionist and Employee Health Nurse. Ms Savage has worked as a full time clinical instructor at STI and currently as an adjunct instructor. She has taught Fundamentals of Nursing, Care of the Child and Adult, Maternal and Child and Leadership classes for Practical Nursing students. Ms. Savage works with health care professionals to promote quality patient care and to provide an environment of evidence based learning. Ms. Savage’s goals as a Instructor in the STI Practical Nursing Program is to promote individual learning, core values and encourage personal growth for the students.
