Mrs. Miller joined STI in August 2019. Her education history includes an Associates degree in nursing at Lakes Region Community College in Laconia, New Hampshire. She achieved a bachelors and masters in nursing education at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona
Mrs. Miller worked in Pharmacy for 13 years before starting in nursing. As an Licensed Nursing Assistant in New Hampshire, she worked on the med/surg/telemetry floor where I continued to work as a Licensed Practical Nurse and Registered Nurse. I worked as back-up for ICU before moving to a long-term vent/trach unit. After obtaining her MSN, she worked as Staff Development in a long-term care facility. When she returned to Massachusetts she worked in multiple schools teaching RN’s & LPN’s in the lab and the clinical setting as well as teaching Anatomy & Physiology II in the classroom setting.
At STI, she looks forward to teaching students how to provide safe, evidence-based care to patients. She also looks forward to learning with, and from, the students. She spends her spare time with her young daughter, playing with their dogs, going to the beach & exploring new places. She also enjoys movies, music, writing, and just hanging out and having fun with family.
