ADMISSIONS COURSE DESCRIPTION PROGRAM EXPENSES COOKING WITH STI HIRE A GRADUATE

The Culinary Arts Program provides a professional and creative curriculum, a supportive staff, and an environment where passionate individuals can immerse themselves in the culinary world. Students will train in our state-of-the–art facilities including our food truck, while working alongside caring and experienced chef instructors.  Academically based knowledge in the classroom and hands-on experience in the lab are intertwined to give the culinary arts student the skills necessary to pursue a professional career in the culinary/hospitality industry.

Candidates must be highly motivated and energetic to enter the fast paced and demanding culinary arts field.  The program concludes with a 25-hour externship, allowing students to apply their new knowledge in a hands-on work environment.  All students of the Culinary Arts Program will have the opportunity to become: ServSafe Food Manager Certified, Food Allergen Certified, Food Truck Permitting and Safety Certified and they will receive their OSHA 10 card.
