Mrs. Beer, Director of STI’s Medical Assisting Program, recently held a virtual panel discussion for her students that will soon be graduating. Participants included members of the healthcare community who provide externship opportunities and/or participate in the annual spring panel event at the school. The purpose is to offer students advice on joining the workforce including characteristic traits that employers value, expectations and job search tips. Invaluable information was shared and lots of good questions were answered. Thank you to all the attendees for their time and guidance!
