Message from the Director – Patricia Illsley
Like many schools and organizations, Southeastern Technical Institute is dealing with the effects of COVID-19, including Social Distancing and closures. We are very concerned about the health and safety of our students and staff. This does not mean that STI is closed. We have transitioned as many courses as possible to an online format. One of the reasons that STI is so successful in preparing people for new careers is the emphasis we place on hands-on learning. Supporting hands-on learning has become a new challenge for us, but thankfully, we have an incredibly knowledgeable and talented faculty and staff who are working hard to meet that challenge.
If you want to know more about our programs, you will find this website to be very helpful. While there is no one in the office, we are all working from home to answer your questions. We are not able to do tours at this time but you can see a video tour of our labs at the bottom of each program’s webpage. We can also set up conversations with the admission advisors, program directors, or teachers.
As always, we are accepting online applications for all our programs. There is still time to explore enrollment in one of our 10 career programs with September and January start dates. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org with questions. We look forward to working with you.
