Dental and Medical Assisting Students Experience the Body Works Exhibit at the Museum of Science
On December 19th, students and faculty from STI’s Dental and Medical Assisting Programs visited the Body Worlds Exhibit at the Museum of Science in Boston. Students were able to see actual anatomical structures on the models and read the accompanying descriptions that describe the physiology of each. This exhibit reinforces material students have studied in the classroom and allows them to further elevate their understanding of patient anatomy and it’s relationship to wellness; another example of STI learning both in and out of the classroom.
