“March Madness” with Mansfield High School
It’s hard to top the kind of excitement that comes from having both your boys AND girls varsity basketball teams make it to the Division 1 South Sectional state semi finals (for the second time). Congratulations Mansfield!! That is truly something to be proud of.
On Thursday, March 9th, STI had the pleasure of hosting 26 students from Mansfield High School. After listening to a presentation on STI’s programs, admissions, and policies, the students were divided into groups according to area(s) of interest. They toured the facilities and had the opportunity to meet with Directors to ask questions and get more information. The visit ended with a fabulous lunch which was served and prepared by Chef Peterson and her students.
Mansfield High School recently hosted a Career Fair for parents and students. Its purpose was to provide students the opportunity to explore hands-on careers and skilled trades. Chef Peterson joined Rhonda Jermyn, Admissions Advisor, to help promote STI’s Culinary Arts program. Several interested students and their families stopped by to inquire about the program offerings and to get admissions information. It was a great evening for all involved!
