Mrs. Carlson is a 1970 graduate of the Nursing Program at Boston College and a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the Honor Society of Nursing. She was certified as an Instructor of Practical Nursing in 1986. Mrs. Carlson brings 35 years of experience teaching in Practical Nursing Programs, including 1983 to the present working for the Southeastern Regional School District. Her clinical practice areas have included Pediatrics, Obstetrics, and a variety of Medical/Surgical specialties mainly in acute care settings. Currently Mrs. Carlson teaches the Integrated Science Course as well as team teaches throughout the Nursing Program. She strongly values PN education, and firmly believes that Southeastern provides a superior quality education and preparation for a rewarding nursing career.
