Dual Enrollment for In-District High School Students

Do you know a high school student who is interested in Dual Enrollment at STI?

Cosmetology – Culinary Arts –  Electricity

STI’s Dual Enrollment Program enables high school seniors to attend school during the evening at STI, while still enrolled in high school, and graduate from STI within six months to one year of their high school graduation date. Juniors (or current seniors with a schedule that works) from Brockton, East Bridgewater, Easton, Foxboro, Mansfield, Norton, Sharon, Stoughton and West Bridgewater are eligible to apply in 3 easy steps.

                                                                  Interview

Sign-Up – Students choose either Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, or Electricity and complete and submit an application to STI; it requires both a parent/guardian signature and a high school official.

Test – Once the application is accepted students will be assigned a date to take the Accuplacer Entrance Exam. This is a multiple choice on line exam, taken here at STI, and includes Reading Comprehension, Sentence Skills, and Math. Students are allowed three opportunities to pass each section.

Interview – The final step in the process is an interview with Ms. Illsley, the Director of STI.

We look forward to a successful dual enrollment program which is slated to begin in January of 2018.
